We are deeply committed to the health and safety of all our families. The Dallas City Council Ordinance: Shelter in Place takes into effect on March 23, 2020 at 11:59pm. In order to do our part to flatten the curve and comply with the Dallas City Ordinance to Shelter in Place, all appointments have been moved to telepractice and will continue through our online platform: BlinkSession.
We have been providing online services for several years now. We have worked with caregiver supported sessions as well as individual sessions.
"Telepractice is the application of telecommunications technology to the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology professional services at a distance by linking clinician to client or clinician to clinician for assessment, intervention, and/or consultation." (ASHA)
The American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) endorses telepractice as an appropriate method for providing speech pathology services. For more information, click here: Telepractice Information
The safety and good health of our patients, colleagues, and staff are our highest priority here at Best Speech Therapy, PLLC. We are continuing to closely monitor updates and announcements surrounding the coronavirus put forth by the CDC and local officials. In person appointments will resume once the Dallas City Council Shelter in Place Ordinance is lifted.
